Job Description
Phillips Staffing is seeking Yarn Changers to join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in the Upstate that offers various advancement opportunities and the ability to go to a full-time status as early as 90 days!Responsibilities:
- Identify yarn tube color and defective yarns
- Manage yarn stock and tubes
- Operate equipment like a tugger and backwinder
- Maintain a clean work area
- Cut and recycle yarn
- Doff full yarn packages
- Label tubes
- Report non-conformities in the Quality System
- Ability to follow directions and be trained
- Ability to recognize colors, operate an air hose, broom, tugger, printer, and utility knife
- Strong dexterity required
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
