Job Description

Phillips Staffing is looking for skilled welders for an innovative manufacturer of industrial/agricultural products in Anderson, SC!

Responsibilities:
  • Experience with MIG welding equipment
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as an angle grinder
  • Align components using calipers, rulers etc. for clamping raw material together 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Other Duties:
  • Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
  • Ability to lift more than 50lbs and assist team members with lifts
  • Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor
Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a weld test (AWS 1.1 and 1.3)
  • Must have welding hood and gloves
  • Read and write English
  • Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, reading rulers and calipers
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, Occasional Overtime on Fridays
Pay Rate: $20/Hour
