Job Description
Phillips Staffing is seeking Packers to join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in the Upstate that offers various advancement opportunities and the ability to go to a full-time status as early as 90 days! Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspection for all finished good to ensure the product is defect free
- Ensure all products are packed on the proper size skid or carton for shipping
- Verify all labeling of product/package is accurate
- Proper disposal of all defective material or product in designated area
- Meet production goals set-out by department manager
- Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
- Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company
- Excellent reading and writing proficiency for the completion of daily work sheets for productivity
- Follow all dress code policies including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
- Basic written, communication and math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Forklift experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have the ability to lift up to 40lbs at various times throughout the day
