Job Description
Phillips Staffing is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for a company that specializes in designing and manufacturing high-quality switchgear solutions for power distribution in Gray Court, SC. This is a direct hire role with excellent benefits! Position Summary:The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor is to ensure effective and efficient use of departmental resources to achieve budget targets in a high quality and safe manner that exceeds customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:• Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Develops personal and staff growth opportunities.• Improves workflow by monitoring steps of the process; reducing processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel andresources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.• Completes Warehouse plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift Warehouse summaries.• Maintains quality levels by establishing, revising, and enforcing organization standards.• Provides Warehouse information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing Warehouse performance records and data. Answers questions and responds to requests.• Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements. Implements change.• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, exceeding compliance with established policies and procedures.• Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Requirements:• Prefer BS, Business management, engineering, other combinations of education and experience will be considered• 5 years’ progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.• Excellent Leadership Skills• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL.• ERP system experience, preferably SAP• Proven history of instilling a culture of continuous improvement.• Able to effectively communicate up and down the organizational hierarchy.• Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure. Shift Schedule: 1st Shift Pay Rate: $ $34-$38 per hour DOE#IND3
