Job Description


Phillips Staffing is seeking Textile Production Associates within the Upstate offering great opportunities for growth in a valued company

 

 

Responsibilities:

 
  1. Operating, maintaining and handling of raw material to the products finished 
  2. Able to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  3. Maintain quality standards of product
  4. Maintain detailed records of machine operation
  5. Move boxes and wooden pallets
  6. Liaising with previous and next lines of production for continuous work flow
  7. Remove finished product from machine line and trims excess material from products using knives or scrapers

 

Other Duties:

 
  1. Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
  2. Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company
  3. Changes out plastic wraps as needed
  4. Removes all card board waste to designated area
  5. Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
  6. Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position while ensuring all safety rules and proper use of equipment

 

Requirements:

 
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. Ability to stand for long periods of time working 12hr rotating shifts
  3. Read and write English
  4. Basic math skills for measurement
  5. Great communication skills
  6. Computer skills
  7. Proficiency with hand tools
  8. Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  9. Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
Pay: $14.42Shift: 3rd shift (12am-8am)
