Tool Room Technician 3rd Shift
Job Description
Phillips Staffing is now hiring for a 3rd Shift Tool Room Technician for a leading manufacturer located in Liberty, SC! We are seeking motivated individuals who able to work productively in a medium-to-fast paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Able to assist with mold maintenance with supervision
- Introduction/Understanding of basic tools and use
- Introduction/Understanding of operating manual Tool Room Equipment
- Able to make minor repairs to die cast tooling with supervision
- Introduction/Understanding of intermediate blue print reading
- Introduction of intermediate skills of trouble shooting die cast tooling problems in production
- Introduction/Understanding basic functions of die casting machines
- Required to have tool box and personal tools for class C work load
- Able to lift and handle up to 75 pounds
- Maintain attendance according to company policy
- Able to work overtime if needed, including weekend & holidays
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be productive with the ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work Overtime, as required
- Must follow the dress code: Required to wear safety glasses and steel toed boots, plant wide.
