Job Summary: The Tool Room Tech is responsible for assisting the CNC and Engineering teams in optimizing workflow, CNC programs, tool use, operator training, and machine utilization that will lead company savings in tools and part cost reduction while increasing parts flow, the flexibility and knowledge of the CNC and programming department. This position must retain a high level of CNC knowledge, an entry to basic knowledge in programming CNC machines, the ability to use lean tools to improve processes, and have the ability to communicate and work well with multiple teams but is also able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Works with Supervisors and programmers to utilize machines in the most effective way according to the schedule and customer needs.
- Improve cost of parts by machine optimization and cycle time reduction.
- Training employees
- Optimizing parts flow based on machine requirements.
- Program parts and operate machines to ensure programs are correct.
- R&D part setup
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CAD/CAM certification is preferred
- 7+ years of CNC experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong mechanical background with a solid understanding of all CNC machines
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work well as a team.
- Ability to train others
- Strong safety mindset
- Can work alongside operators, operate machines, troubleshooting machines and programs, machine optimization.
Salary: $26-29/Hour, Based on Experience
