Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all safety standards, and follows listed guidelines for working alongside the robotics warehouse solution.
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Safely and accurately moves materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on robots or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Uses computer or hand-held devices to enter records and transactions of all inbound or outbound actions performed.
- Prepares parcels for mailing.
- Prepares pallets for domestic freight or international shipments.
- Highschool diploma or GED
- At least one year experience working in a warehouse environment
- Leadership and receiving experience in a warehouse environment
- Oral communication, speaks clearly and listens well to comprehend and get clarification on any necessary tasks being communicated.
- Teamwork, balances team and individual responsibilities, gives and welcomes feedback.
- Quality and quantity, meets production standards while working in a timely manner, and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness throughout the whole process.
- Safety and security, observes all safety procedures, and repeats potentially unsafe conditions.
