Job Description
Phillips Staffing is seeking a Shipping Associate to work for a reputable golf equipment distributor in Greer, SC!The Shipping Associate is primarily responsible for supporting the warehouse maintenance and safety.
Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $16/Hour
Responsibilities:
- Make sure all trash cans in the warehouse are emptied during and end of the shift.
- Ensure all cardboard is picked up in the warehouse is cleaned up during and end of the shift
- Maintain cardboard gaylords in the warehouse
- Cut clastic off pallets and discard
- Water forklift batteries once every two weeks
- Keep pallets stacked neatly wood and cardboard. Take bad wood outside stacked neatly.
- Keep pallet outside 5S weekly
- Check and sign off on the eye wash station weekly
- Sign off on fire extinguishers monthly
- Check all exit signs and emergency lights monthly
- Any other assigned duties that are assigned by the supervisor/lead
- High school diploma or GED
- Some manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be productive with the ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Pay Rate: $16/Hour
