Job Description

Phillips Staffing is seeking a Shipping Associate to work for a reputable golf equipment distributor in Greer, SC!The Shipping Associate is primarily responsible for supporting the warehouse maintenance and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Make sure all trash cans in the warehouse are emptied during and end of the shift.
  • Ensure all cardboard is picked up in the warehouse is cleaned up during and end of the shift
  • Maintain cardboard gaylords in the warehouse
  • Cut clastic off pallets and discard
  • Water forklift batteries once every two weeks
  • Keep pallets stacked neatly wood and cardboard. Take bad wood outside stacked neatly.
  • Keep pallet outside 5S weekly
  • Check and sign off on the eye wash station weekly
  • Sign off on fire extinguishers monthly
  • Check all exit signs and emergency lights monthly
  • Any other assigned duties that are assigned by the supervisor/lead
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be self-motivated 
  • Must be productive with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
 Shift Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm
Pay Rate: $16/Hour
