Job Description

Phillips Staffing of Anderson is hiring for Facility Security Coordinators for a valued client in Anderson, SC. These is a DIRECT HIRE position! RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide plant security – primarily 2nd shift
  • Train and communicate with contracted security guards
  • Review, monitor, and operate all security surveillance equipment as needed
  • Review and evaluate current security equipment, procedures, and protocols and assist in design for additional efforts to be implemented as approved
  • Monitor the weather alert system and notify management of dangerous weather conditions that may concern plant operations
  • Provides off-shift support for contracted security guards
  • Maintain, raise, and lower the flag at this facility
  • Assist HR department, management, and supervisors when necessary
  • Assist outside agencies such as the ERP-team on Emergency situations when necessary
  • Assist the Safety Manager with evacuations, fire drills, and other requirements involving emergency trainings
  • Greet/Monitor visitors, contractors, and customers who may periodically be on site
  • Develop a watch-list program to be communicated to HR, HS, and contracted security
  • Research suspect activity, such as theft, and assist the police department and court system with documentation and evidence related to illegal activity, theft, physical harm, etc., at this facility
  • Requires training in Adult CPR and Standard First Aid
  • Requires training and Blood Borne Pathogens
  • Requires training in Spill Response and Fire Extinguishing equipment
Requirements:
  • Ability to work with others on a team to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, maintain detailed and accurate records, and prepare clear and concise written reports.
  • Previous general experience and/or knowledge of firefighting and/or prevention
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
