Job Description

A prominent locomotive rebuilder established in 1980 and based in Greenville, South Carolina, is currently seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer/Business Development Manager to join their team. 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote heavy industrial equipment sales across the United States and Canada.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the heavy equipment or industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and industrial equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Some travel as needed within the US and Canada.
