Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join an energetic team at an automotive materials manufacturer in the Upstate! The Production Lead/Supervisor is primarily responsible for effectively managing company policies and procedures to ensure the manufacturing department operates at peak efficiency and working with employees to constantly improve output.
Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $50,000 – 60,000/Year, Based on Experience

Responsibilities:
- Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
- Oversee a workforce of 50+ employees in the manufacturing department
- Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
- Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines
- Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel
- Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
- Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management
- Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity
- Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels
- 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations
- 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
- Bachelor’s degree desired but for the right candidate experience will be taken into consideration
- Excellent project management skills
- Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as a group
- Proven track record in Managing production teams to meet daily targets within a fast-paced Manufacturing Environment with a focus on Quality first
- Cut and Sew and Scheduling experience desirable along with working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques
Pay Rate: $50,000 – 60,000/Year, Based on Experience
