- Safely and efficiently operate a single end slasher to create first quality loom beams through following set specifications
- Make corrections and adjustments to quality and productions issues
- Inspect yarn shed and creels to verify they are meeting set specification requirements
- Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
- Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and the success of the company
- Ability to identify and classify defects by combination of visual inspection and precise measurements with hand tools
- Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read, write and comprehend written and/or verbal instructions
- Great visual acuity
- Basic computer skills including opening/closing files, manipulating windows
- Basic math skills including measurement
