Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Forklift Drivers for a client located in Greenville, SC. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory movement, on-time customer deliveries, and safe material handling within a fast-paced metal fabrication manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Schedule freight pickups and communicate with carriers.
  • Prepare bills of lading (BOL), packing slips, and shipping documentation.
  • Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and customer orders.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of materials to customers and job sites.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
  • Accurately record receipts in ERP/MRP system.
  • Label, organize, and properly store incoming materials.
  • Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to Purchasing or Management.
  • Maintain organized staging areas for inbound and outbound materials.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks throughout the shift.
  • Load and unload flatbeds, box trucks, and common carrier shipments.
  • Move raw materials, hardware, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Pull hardware and materials for site deliveries and production needs.
  • Stage completed projects for shipment.
  • Build pallets and crates for large fabricated products.
  • Secure loads properly using banding, shrink wrap, blocking, and bracing.
  • Ensure shipments are protected from damage during transit.
  • Verify weight distribution and proper load configuration.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections.
  • Maintain clean and organized dock and warehouse areas.
  • Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience operating a forklift full time for extended periods of time.
  • Experience loading and unloading flatbeds and large fabricated materials.
  • Ability to build pallets and secure oversized shipments.
  • Experience pulling hardware and materials for job site deliveries.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled warehouse conditions.
Shift: 5am to 1:30pmPay: $19.81
