Welder 1st Shift
Job Description
Phillips Staffing is looking for skilled welders for an innovative manufacturer of industrial/agricultural products in Anderson, SC! Responsibilities:
- Experience with MIG welding equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools such as an angle grinder
- Align components using calipers, rulers etc. for clamping raw material together
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs and assist team members with lifts
- Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a weld test (AWS 1.1 and 1.3)
- Read and write English
- Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, reading rulers and calipers
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
