Job Description
We are seeking a detailed orientated Maintenance Technician for a client located in Anderson, SC. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. This role supports daily operations in a fast-paced environment and works closely with production staff to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and converting equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production support requests
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and parts usage records
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards
- Coordinate with outside service providers when required
- Maintain an organized and safe maintenance work area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (label or packaging experience a plus)
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
- Must be able to pass a Mechanical Skills test
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Willingness to work flexible hours or on-call as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work around moving machinery and in a production environment
