Job Description
Phillips Staffing is seeking Production Associates for a client located in Marietta, SC that offers great opportunities for growth in a valued company. Responsibilities:
- Operating, maintaining and handling of raw material to the products finished
- Able to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Maintain quality standards of product
- Maintain detailed records of machine operation
- Move boxes and wooden pallets
- Liaising with previous and next lines of production for continuous work flow
- Remove finished product from machine line and trims excess material from products using knives or scrapers.
- Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
- Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company
- Changes out plastic wraps as needed
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
- Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position while ensuring all safety rules and proper use of equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time working 12hr rotating shifts
- Read and write English
- Basic math skills for measurement
- Great communication skills
- Computer skills
- Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination
