Paint Loader 1st Shift
Job Description
We are currently seeking a 1st shift Paint Loader Associates for a client located in Greenville, SC. The Paint Line Loader is responsible for preparing, cleaning, scraping, hanging, touch-up painting, and unloading steel components for pallet racking systems using an automated paint line. Duties include removing debris and imperfections from steel parts to ensure proper coating adhesion, inspecting parts for quality, applying paint touch-ups, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and supporting production flow. - Operate spray painter equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products.
- Mix paints and other solutions accurately.
- Monitor the drying process to ensure desired results.
- Complete finishing tasks such as baking, polishing, or other methods.
- Adhere to all required safety procedures.
- Perform manual painting tasks when necessary.
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures.
- Must be willing to work any position on the paint line assigned to.
- Must be willing to take direction and work with the team.
- Must be willing to regularly work around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
- Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds at a time.
