Job Description
Phillips Staffing is now hiring for a 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator for a leading manufacturer located in Liberty, SC! We are seeking motivated individuals who able to work productively in a medium-to-fast paced environment. Responsibilities:

- This position involves operating all types of machines and other duties in the secondary operations department after his or her supervisor has provided employee with proper training or instruction.
- Load/unload parts from machine as instructed by supervisor
- Use of standard gauges, including the following: dial calipers, depth gauges, plug gauges and special gauges after instruction has been provided
- Possesses a working knowledge of quality requirements that pertain to the parts being machined and the operations being performed
- Changes cutting tools, drills, taps, end mills, etc., with minimal assistance from set up personnel.
- Able to perform machine adjustments with set up or supervisors’ instructions.
- Able to recognize and report quality problems to supervisor
- Capable of sharpening certain cutting tools with set up persons assistance
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be productive with the ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work Overtime, as required
- Must follow the dress code: Steel Toe, ESD shoes are required, plant wide.
