Job Summary: The Beamer Helper assists the Beamer Operator with setting up, running, and doffing the beamer machine, and safely transports, stages, and prepares loom beams using hoists and PIVs.

Responsibilities
- Set up warping and beaming machinery according to production specifications.
- Thread yarn from creels through guides, drop wires, and reeds.
- Monitor machine operations to maintain proper thread tension and alignment.
- Inspect yarn continuously for defects, knots, or breakage.
- Repair broken yarn ends quickly using approved knotting techniques.
- Unload completed beams using mechanical hoists or forklifts safely.
- Log production data including yardage, yarn types, and machine downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years in textile manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills for thread counts.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Vision: Excellent visual acuity to detect fine thread defects and color changes.
