Phillips Staffing is now hiring for a 3rd Shift Team Lead in the Machining Department for a leading manufacturer in Liberty, SC! This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with prior team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of machining operators on 3rd shift
- Coordinate daily job assignments and prioritize workloads to meet production goals
- Monitor performance, provide guidance, and assist in resolving technical and personnel issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance as needed
- Work with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule and track repairs or improvements
- Train and mentor new employees and support continuous skill development within the team
- Maintain accurate shift reports and logs
- Recommend process improvements and implement approved changes to enhance efficiency
- Previous on-the-job team lead or supervisory experience is required
- 2+ years' experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude; familiarity with CNC machines and machining processes a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer and documentation skills
Pay Rate: $20-25/Hour, Based on Experience
