Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join an energetic team at an automotive materials manufacturer in the Upstate! The Heat Seal Operator is primarily responsible for working as part of small team creating and assembling convertible tops in all the latest styles. In addition to operating machinery, you will learn solid construction and sew techniques working with a group which has a combined experience of over 150 years suppling quality tops to all OEM Manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $17-20/Hour, Based on Experience

Responsibilities:
- Using specialized, purpose-built RF Heat Sealing machines to create a permanent water proof bond between materials on Convertible Tops
- Use Pfaff taping machines to apply various tapes and other trimmings to sewn pieces according to work order instructions and diagrams
- Must have an attention to Detail and a steady arm/hand to use scalping tools to finely trim and clean windows/tops
- High school diploma or equivalent desired but not essential dependent on skill set
- Some experience in similar industries ideal but not a necessity
Pay Rate: $17-20/Hour, Based on Experience
