General Laborer 3rd Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Laborers to support our client’s Paint Department by cleaning and preparing metal parts for the painting process. This role is essential to ensuring high-quality finishes and smooth production flow by properly removing dirt, grease, and debris from parts prior to coating.Primary Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare metal parts for the paint process according to production standards
- Remove grease, oil, dirt, and other contaminants using approved cleaning methods and materials
- Inspect parts for obvious defects or contamination prior to painting
- Handle, move, and organize parts safely within the paint department
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
- Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and company procedures
- Support production goals by working efficiently and following supervisor instructions
- Separate waste and scrap materials according to plant guidelines
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and noise
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a team-based environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
