Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who will build on existing knowledge and skills in mechanical and electrical field while completing classroom training through local technical college and Amatrol Training System. Responsibilities:Perform pneumatic and hydraulic trouble shooting on equipment to determine root cause and implement corrective measure to ensure no repeat downtime events.Perform basic troubleshooting on 480v electrical equipment to determine root cause and implement corrective measure to ensure no repeat downtime eventsPerform repair and preventive maintenance on: Heat Treat, Metal Stamping Press, Assembly and Finish Tumble Equipment, Boilers, Compressors, and HVAC systems.Use CMMS program to complete work and document issue and parts used on a daily basis.Follow all 5S Principles and adhere to all company, state, and environmental rules and regulations.This job requires that you be trained and certified under the "Authorized Lock out Tag out policy" respective to this job and the task being performed. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Be team player and work in groups to meet Maintenance KPI's targetHands-on and written Amatrol assessments will be given to determine knowledgeMust possess knowledge in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical control systemWill be required to do high level mechanical and electrical work to meet all plant and company KPI goalsMust possess good attendance, communication, and people interaction skills in all areasMust be self-starter that can work with minimal supervision Must have advance math skills to be able read calipers, micrometers and rulerRequired to work overtime during week, weekends as well as scheduled plant shut downs, holidays, emergencies Requirements:Two-year degree programming electronics, mechatronics or other technical program, or 5 years industrial maintenance experienceMust pass Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude Test.Must be able to pass PIT exam to become licensed in Fork Lift and Scissor Lift. Environment:Must be able to lift 45 lbs.This position has exposure to moderate noise levels, moving parts, electrical and hot work environments Will be required to perform work in different positions, climb, stand, sit, reach, stooping, kneeling.Work in confined space area with proper training Salary: From $25.80 - $33.66 per hourSchedule: 8-hour shift; Monday to Friday; Night shift; Weekends as needed
