Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift
Job Description
Phillips Staffing is now hiring for 3rd Shift Maintenance Technicians for a leading manufacturer located in Liberty, SC! The Maintenance Technician role is primarily responsible for providing routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance for manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the die cast machine lubrication process
- Implements a preventive and routine maintenance program on all equipment.
- Provide equipment filter changes
- Understand the function of all die tooling micro switches on die cast tooling and be capable of checking
- these devices and wiring.
- Understand die cast machine cycles, operation and programming of auto ladles and reciprocators
- Furnace operation including fabrication of thermocouples
- Provide building and grounds maintenance
- Prepares and maintains all logs, charts, and other required documents for each piece of equipment.
- Operates all material handling equipment required.
- Perform repairs on equipment as required.
- Perform building and equipment audits
- Coordinate and track preventative maintenance
- Initiate and schedule repairs
- Develop and implement continuous improvements
- Maintain and track supplies
- 1-2 years’ experience in one or more of the following categories: electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and welding
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Team player with good attendance history
- Able to work without close supervision and ability to multi-task.
- Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
