Job Description

Phillips Staffing is now hiring for a 3rd Shift Team Lead in the Machining Department for a leading manufacturer in Liberty, SC! This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with prior team lead experience in a manufacturing environment. 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of machining operators on 3rd shift
  • Coordinate daily job assignments and prioritize workloads to meet production goals
  • Monitor performance, provide guidance, and assist in resolving technical and personnel issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance as needed
  • Work with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule and track repairs or improvements
  • Train and mentor new employees and support continuous skill development within the team
  • Maintain accurate shift reports and logs
  • Recommend process improvements and implement approved changes to enhance efficiency
Requirements:
  • Previous on-the-job team lead or supervisory experience is required
  • 2+ years' experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; familiarity with CNC machines and machining processes a plus
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic computer and documentation skills
Shift Schedule: 3rd Shift
Pay Rate: $20-25/Hour, Based on Experience
