Job Description
Position Summary: Operate various machines and perform various manufacturing tasks such as creel, cut, sort, rewind different fiber products
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems.
Inspect, test, and/or measure materials to verify conformance to specifications.
Sort material accurately based on test results
Accept or reject material due to quality and mark items accordingly
Test products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring and testing instruments
Build boxes and apply tare weight
Remove all cardboard and break down boxes
Remove all empty tubes from carbon fibers room place in cardboard trailer
Bring stock from warehouse and check off pull sheets for production
Place finished goods on a pallet, strap boxes and stretch wrap items per order specifications
Pack out production
Label all the packed-out material
Pull stock as requested from planner/scheduler
Follow order specifications such as cut size, finish, packaging
Change cutter reels to order specifications
Sort and restack tubes
Operate forklift
Operate creel
Assist with loading and unloading trucks when needed
Keep warehouse and work area organized and clean
Verify scales every morning
Must have the ability to work without supervision
Preferred Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Basic computer skills
Basic math skills
