Job Summary: This position is responsible for setting up and operating a steel shot wheelabrator machine to manufacture parts to the correct dimensions per the engineer drawings. Operators will be required to record and maintain detailed material usage records conforming to the company’s and AISC standards. A wheelabrator is used to clean steel with metal shots.

Pay Rate: $18-20/Hour #IND1

Responsibilities:
- Program and operate a steel wheelabrator and other machinery.
- Read work orders and plan work sequences.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Set controls for speed, feed rate depth, and angle.
- Handle, move, and stage parts will meet drawing profile
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Willingness to learn additional machinery
- Attention to detail and clearly mark material for traceability
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read a tape measure (standard & metric) and engineer drawings
- Wheelabrator programming and operations (will train the right person)
- Forklift experience is a must
- Bridge crane experience is a must
- Must be able to physically lift up to 50lbs
- Must be self-motivated
