Job Description
Phillips Staffing of Easley is now hiring 3rd shift Machine Operators for a client located in Liberty, SC.The starting pay for this position is $14.50 per hour + a $1.00 per hour shift premium. This position involves operating all types of machines and other duties in the secondary operations department after his or her supervisor has provided employee with proper training or instruction.
- Load/unload parts from machine as instructed by supervisor
- Use of standard gages, including the following: dial calipers, depth gages, plug gages and special gages after instruction has been provided
- Possesses a working knowledge of quality requirements that pertain to the parts being machined and the operations being performed
- Changes cutting tools, drills, taps, end mills, etc., with minimal assistance from set up personnel.
- Able to perform machine adjustments with set up or supervisors instructions.
- Able to recognize and report quality problems to supervisor
- Capable of sharpening certain cutting tools with set up persons assistance
