Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and organized individuals that can multi-task and follow directions for a Machine Operator position located in Liberty, SC. The candidate should be able to work productively in a medium-to-fast paced environment.Responsibilities:This position involves operating all types of machines and other duties in the secondary operations department after his or her supervisor has provided employee with proper training or instruction.Load/unload parts from machine as instructed by supervisorUse of standard gages, including the following: dial calipers, depth gages, plug gages and special gages after instruction has been providedPossesses a working knowledge of quality requirements that pertain to the parts being machined and the operations being performedChanges cutting tools, drills, taps, end mills, etc., with minimal assistance from set up personnel.Able to perform machine adjustments with set up or supervisors’ instructions.Able to recognize and report quality problems to supervisorCapable of sharpening certain cutting tools with set up persons assistance
Requirements:Must be self-motivated Must be productive with the ability to work in a team environment Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to work Overtime, as required Must follow the dress code: Steel Toe, ESD shoes are required, plant wide.
