Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Wrapper to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery to wrap and package textile and industrial products, ensuring efficient and accurate production. This position involves working on a rotating shift schedule to support our 24/7 operations for a global manufacturer and innovator of textiles, specialty chemicals, and other industrial products.
Responsibilities:
Operate packaging equipment, such as wrappers, sealers, and labelers, to prepare finished products for shipment
Monitor production processes and equipment to maintain quality and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on packaging machinery
Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications:
Experience as a machine operator or in a similar production/manufacturing role
Proficient in the operation of industrial packaging equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to a rotating shift schedule
Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
Working Conditions:
This position may involve exposure to machinery, textiles, and other industrial materials. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a production setting. The rotating shift schedule may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
