Job Description

Phillips Staffing is looking for energic, detailed oriented, and creative individuals to join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in Pendleton, SC! The Loom Technician is primarily responsible troubleshooting the weaving machines. We are seeking candidates that have knowledge concerning the operation of fans, motors, and pumps, the ability to perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on auxiliary equipment, and an understanding of electrical circuit boards and integrate circuits.
Responsibilities: 
  • Provide timely response to safety concerns and equipment failures
  • Maintain working condition and perform minor repairs on wide range of facilities and auxiliary equipment
  • Knowledge of all general plant safety rules & safety absolutes.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Meet production goals set-out by department manager
  • Follow proper policies and procedures set out by department and location
  • Complete daily team maintenance (DTM) activities
  • Audit safety items in department
 Requirements:
  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent in electronics
  • Must have textile/weaving maintenance ]experience
  • Ability to read, write, and follow directions
  • Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
  • Basic Math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong discipline and ability to work both alone and in groups
  • Attention to Detail - Thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task ensuring all aspects are reviewed.
  • Adaptability - Adapts to change in the work environment 
Shift Schedule: Rotating 12 Hour Shift Pay Rate: $21.01/Hour
