Laser Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laser Machine Operator to join our team client’s team in Seneca, SC. The ideal candidate will be committed to producing quality work, following established procedures, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Responsibilities
- Verify machine setup against specification sheets and work order marking requirements.
- Inspect the first drill to ensure laser mark accuracy.
- Ensure tooling diameter meets work order specifications.
- Package finished tools into tubes or envelopes.
- Complete second-party verification to ensure tool requirement accuracy.
- Prepare all required paperwork accurately and completely.
- Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Accurately enter production transactions into Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Maintain strong 5S practices and support Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP) standards within the department.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to comprehend instructions, follow procedures, and multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including the use of a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and required software applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (AX Production System) is preferred but not required.
