Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Human Resources Administrator for a short term assignment to provide administrative and operational support for a client located in Fountain Inn, SC. In this role, you will be assisting with employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, recordkeeping, payroll support, and general HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain employee files and HR records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Prepare HR documents including employment verifications, letters, forms, and reports
- Support HR audits and ensure documentation compliance
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information at all times
- Manage daily timekeeping and timecard administration for an assigned group of employees
- Review, audit, and correct employee time records to ensure payroll accuracy and policy compliance
- Monitor attendance, missed punches, overtime, and schedule exceptions
- Partner with supervisors and managers to resolve timekeeping discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure payroll deadlines are met by accurately processing and approving timecard updates
- Assist employees with timekeeping questions and system support
- Assist with posting job openings and coordinating interviews
- Support pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screens, and onboarding paperwork
- Conduct or coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities
- Track onboarding completion and ensure timely processing of new hire documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, attendance, payroll, and HR procedures
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events
- Support communication efforts related to HR programs and announcements
- 3+ years of Human Resources, payroll, timekeeping, or administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of HR practices, payroll processes, employment laws, and confidentiality standards
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, and electronic timekeeping systems
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or fast-paced environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Experience with attendance tracking and payroll/timekeeping systems preferred
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment as needed
