Job Description

A General Operator is needed at a global leader in critical IT infrastructure in Anderson, SC. We are seeking a motivated and team-focused individual that has strong leadership skills. This is a Direct Hire position with benefits and opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal.
  • Use of calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure quality standards
  • Follow diagrams or work orders as provided by a team leader.
  • Using drills to tap/ream holes to prepare parts for assembly.
  • Read/interpret blueprints and make minor adjustments as necessary
  • Remove burrs, alter shape, improve fit or smooth finish using hand/power tools.
  • Must be able to maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and comply with all safety rules and procedures.
  • Must work efficiently while keeping safety, quality and production standards in mind at all times.
  • To promote a team-oriented atmosphere at all times.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • 2+ yrs. experience operating industrial machinery in a metal fabrication environment
  • Must have the ability to regularly and safely lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Must have the ability to read process sheets in order to determine assembly sequence, machine and tooling requirements, measurements and tolerances.
  • Must be able to use basic mathematical equations and engage in constructive and creative problem solving.
Shift Schedule: Positions Available on 1st and 2nd Shifts
Pay Rate: $18/Hour, $3 Shift Differential for 2nd Shift
