Job Description

Are you looking to build a career with a leading heat-treating company in the heart of Greenville, SC? Look no further! We are seeking dedicated and motivated Furnace Operators to join our team. As a Furnace Operator, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver high-quality heat treatment services to our valued clients.Duties include:
  • Set up and preparation of machines according to production specifications.
  • Preparing equipment and verifying production settings.
  • Load and unload setups, breakdowns, and operating equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools when necessary.
Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED OR 1 year of heat-treating or furnace operations
  • Knowledge and ability to operate production equipment
  • Basic computer and Windows knowledge
Workplace requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, lift and stretch
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates
Education:
  • HS diploma/GED OR related experience
