Phillips Staffing is seeking individuals with manufacturing or warehouse experience to join the team at a leading packaging solutions company in Cowpens, SC!
Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $14/Hour
Responsibilities:
- Feeding material into machines, stacking finished product, glue/assembly of paper products, banding pallets, and shrink wrapping for shipment.
- Being flexible as this position requires assistance with all jobs or in all areas on the plant floor.
- Ensuring that clean housekeeping procedures are followed. This includes blowing down the machine, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping machine or work area, and picking up miscellaneous scrap.
- May be required to stack parts up to 50 lbs.
- Standing required for periods of up to 12 hours.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures including Lock out / Tag out.
- Counting and stacking finished products.
- Work overtime as required.
- Report any safety hazards/concerns to Supervisor, Plant Manager, Safety Manager/HR Manager.
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Must be able to work as part of a team in support of production operation.
- Ability to show up to work on time ready to work.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
- Ability to work overtime if needed.
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16”
- Good attitude.
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to be flexible with job location (i.e. finishing area, machine room, etc.)
- Attention to detail and quality.
Pay Rate: $14/Hour
