Field Service Technician
Job Description
Phillips Staffing is hiring for a Field Technician role at a reputable equipment manufacturer in Anderson, SC. This is a direct hire position with full benefits!
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Assembly and commissioning of our equipment at customer’s site
- Fulfilling maintenance contracts of our equipment at customer’s site
- Customer service/problem solving
- Troubleshooting of equipment at customer site
- Communicating with service departments at our headquarters in Europe before and during customer visit and submitting service visit reports upon completion.
- Travel 70%-80% in US
- Basic knowledge of PLC controls and technology (Examples include Siemens and B&R)
- Experience as a service technician
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical technical drawings / blueprints
- Experience in machine manufacturing a plus
- Independent, self-reliant, and customer-oriented
- Experience working with small/medium sized companies
