Job Description
Extrusion Operator Phillips Staffing is looking for analytic and creative individuals who enjoy challenging situations within a medium to fast paced team environment for leading manufacturing plant in the Upstate. Responsibilities:
- Operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues with machine to maintain productivity
- Maintain quality standards of product
- Maintain detailed records of machine operation
- Ensure and observe all safety rules and proper use of equipment
- Liaising with previous and next lines of production for continuous work flow
- Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
- Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company
- Complete daily work sheets for productivity
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
- Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Read and write English
- Basic math skills for measurement
- Critical thinking skills with problem solving and root cause analysis
- Great communication skills
- Computer skills
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
