Job Description

Phillips Staffing is looking for innovative, detail oriented and energetic individuals who are able to quickly adapt to changing situations for one of the leading global manufacturing companies within the Upstate 
Responsibilities:
  • Operating production equipment, potentially including warping machines.
  • Handling yarn, maintaining yarn tensions and creel settings.
  • Setting up and operating machinery according to specifications.
  • Making adjustments to ensure quality product is produced.
  • Completing required paperwork.
  • Working safely and following established procedures.
  • Potentially performing basic maintenance on equipment, such as lubricating and cleaning.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the work area.
  • Transporting materials within the facility, possibly using forklifts or other powered equipment.
  • Working as part of a team. 
Other Duties:
  • Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
  • Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and the success of the company
  • Ability to identify and classify defects by combination of visual inspection and precise measurements with hand tools
  • Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend written and/or verbal instructions
  • Great visual acuity
  • Basic computer skills including opening/closing files, manipulating windows
  • Basic math skills including measurement
Shift Schedule: 3rd Shift, 12:00 am - 8:00 am Pay Rate: $16.23/Hour
