Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source and recruit qualified candidates for direct hire roles using job boards, social media, referrals, and networking strategies.
- Conduct thorough interviews and candidate assessments to evaluate experience, skills, work ethic, and culture fit.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Recruiting to understand client needs, job order requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Skill market top candidates to prospective and current clients to generate interest in direct hire placements.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting process from intake to offer, including coordinating client interviews, candidate communications, background checks, drug screens, and onboarding steps.
- Maintain up-to-date records of candidate interactions, interview outcomes, and hiring activity in our applicant tracking system (Avionté).
- Support and guide candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience and strong retention.
- Stay informed on current market trends, competitive salaries, and evolving recruitment best practices to continuously improve results.
- Collaborate with the sales and leadership teams to support business development efforts and help secure new opportunities for direct hire placements.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing—preferably with a focus on technical, skilled trades, or professional-level roles, including salaried and leadership positions.
- Proven track record of success in filling hard-to-fill or technical positions.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills with familiarity using ATS systems, job boards, and LinkedIn.
- Experience with recruitment marketing, social media outreach, or employer branding is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach to candidate and client interaction.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, hiring practices, and recruitment compliance preferred.
