Job Description
We are seeking a Fabric Inspection & Debatching Associate to join our client’s team in Pendleton, SC. In this role, you will safely operate high-speed debatching machines, inspect fabric for defects, and ensure fabric is cut, graded, and prepared according to customer specifications.You will receive extensive hands-on training in fabric defect identification, classification, machine operation, and use of the BARCO inspection system. Associates will also cross-train on multiple machines and in-line inspection processes.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate multiple high-speed debatching machines to cut fabric according to customer specifications.
- Visually inspect fabric and identify defects when an automated inspection system is not available.
- Grade fabric according to established customer specifications.
- Use the BARCO inspection system to record defects and grade fabric for shipment.
- Learn and apply proper defect recognition and classification procedures through training.
- Work closely with team members and the designated On-the-Job Trainer (OJT) to learn position expectations and procedures.
- Cross-train on various high-speed debatching machines and BARCO inspection operations.
- Cross-train and assist with in-line fabric inspection.
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
