- Review daily product costing transactions and resolve costing "kick-outs" resulting from incomplete Bill of Materials (BOM) setups.
- Calculate and maintain standard costs for new and existing products.
- Cost new products across multiple manufacturing sites and legal entities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Run daily costing batches and monitor costing accuracy in D365.
- Perform product cost simulations and update the quoting system to reflect significant material and manufacturing cost changes throughout the year.
- Analyze product costs to ensure accurate inventory valuation and financial reporting.
- Support import costing activities, including tariff and duty calculations.
- Work closely with operations, engineering, procurement, and finance to maintain accurate product cost data.
- 3+ years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with Product Costing and Standard Costing is required.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is strongly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing accounting, inventory costing, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routing structures.
- Experience with cost analysis, cost simulations, and product cost maintenance.
- Working knowledge of import costing, including tariffs and duties.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
