Job Description

Phillips Staffing is looking for a skilled Control Equipment Technician (CET) to join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in the Upstate! Job Summary: Troubleshoot the weaving machines, have knowledge concerning the operation of fans, motors, and pumps, the ability to perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on auxiliary equipment, needs an understanding of electrical circuit boards and integrate circuits.

Responsibilities: 
  • Knowledge of support operator policies and procedures
  • Completing daily team maintenance (DTM) activities
  • Auditing safety items in department
  • Knowledge of all general plant safety rules & safety absolutes.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Meet production goals set-out by department manager
  • Follow proper policies and procedures set out by department and location
  • Provide timely response to safety concerns and equipment failures
  • Maintain working condition and perform minor repairs on wide range of facilities and auxiliary equipment
Requirements: 
  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent in electronics
  • Previous engineering experience
  • Ability to read, write, and follow directions
  • Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
  • Basic Math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Attention to Detail-Thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task ensuring all aspects are reviewed.
  • Adaptability-Adapts to change in the work environment 
  • Ability to identify and classify machine problems
Shift Schedule: Rotating 12 Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: $24.17/Hour
