Job Summary: CNC wire benders are tasked with the setup and operation of the CNC wire bender. They must understand specifications, interpret complex technical documents such as blueprints and Auto CAD drawings, and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate production of components. Operators are also responsible for performing tests and inspections of machined parts to guarantee that they meet preset quality standards. Keeping records of operations and maintaining the machinery, including basic troubleshooting and reporting of significant machine malfunctions, are also critical duties in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Setting up CNC wire bending machines, which involves configuring software and adjusting machine settings.
- Selecting, measuring, and mounting the appropriate tools and attachments for the job.
- Monitoring the machine during operation to ensure adherence to specifications and making adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Operating iron workers and manual benders to ensure all parts are ready for the next process.
- Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they are holding up to quality standards and specifications.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace at all times.
- Documenting actions by completing production and quality logs.
- High School Diploma/GED or graduation from certified technical school.
- 1-3 years of CNC wire bending or CNC experience
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding and interpreting blueprints, Auto CAD drawings, and technical documents.
- Machine Operation: Setting up and operating CNC wire bending machines, including adjusting settings for precision.
- Quality Control: Performing tests and inspections to ensure components meet quality standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving basic machine malfunctions.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of operations and maintenance activities.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in production and adherence to specifications.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of machinery and its maintenance.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve issues that arise during production.
