CNC Machine Operator
Job Description
We’re seeking experienced Machine Operators for a client located in Seneca, SC, that produces high-quality cutting tools in a fast-paced, precision manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or grinders) in accordance with production orders and engineering drawings.
- Load raw materials, select and install appropriate tooling, and input necessary machine offsets or parameters.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed to maintain tolerances and quality.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major mechanical problems to maintenance or supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records and follow all safety and quality control standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to improve processes and efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in machining preferred.
- Must have 1–3 years of experience operating CNC machinery (milling, turning, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools and quality inspection methods.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming concepts is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
