Phillips Staffing is looking for energic, detailed oriented, and creative individuals to join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in the Upstate!
General Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $20.40/Hour
General Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of all general plant safety rules & absolutes.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Meet production goals set out by department manager.
- Follow proper policies and procedures and job specifications set out by department and location.
- Knowledge of technician and breakdown policies and procedures
- Completing Daily Team Maintenance (DTM) activities
- Auditing safety items in the department
- Set machine to proper machine specs and ensure machines run according to style specification
- Disassemble and reassemble weave machines
- Replace worn parts
- Must have previous textile and mechanical experience
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Basic Math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Attention to Detail-Thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task ensuring all aspects are reviewed.
- Adaptability-Adapts to change in the work environment
- Ability to identify and classify machine problems
Pay Rate: $20.40/Hour
