Job Description
We are seeking a Production Associate as a Box Maker for a client located in Simpsonville, SC. In this role, you will assist in the production in the Extrusion Department to achieve the expected goals and objectives. Responsibilities:

- Make boxes for extrusions lines.
- Follow box making schedules and have the appropriate boxes in the proper quantity prepared for the lines when the orders are run.
- Print box label for each order and apply to boxes.
- Make sure the appropriate labels in the correct quantity are ready in a timely manner for each line.
- Assist the operators as needed.
- Work with the operators, attendants and TPL’s to get the lines needed supplies for short notice changeovers.
- Work with the supply dept to restock boxes, cores, labels, etc. as needed in the box making area.
- Work with core cutting to assure the correct cores are delivered in a timely manner.
- Actively participate in the high-performance work teams taking on a resource role for one of the responsible areas.
- Meet continuous improvement objectives and ensure the successful communication and performance of the teams required and perform all duties as directed by management.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other team members and departments to achieve shared goals and foster a positive work environment.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the area clean, organized, and free from any potential hazards.
- Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on the latest techniques and guidelines.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while performing repetitive tasks.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills and willingness to contribute to a cohesive team environment.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Safety Conscious: A strong commitment to always following safety guidelines and protocols.
