Job Summary: The Beamer Helper assists the Beamer Operator with setting up, running, and doffing the beamer machine, and safely transports, stages, and prepares loom beams using hoists and PIVs.

Job Summary: The Beamer Helper assists the Beamer Operator with setting up, running, and doffing the beamer machine, and safely transports, stages, and prepares loom beams using hoists and PIVs.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a hoist/ crane to stage and prepare empty loom beams.
- Operate a hoist/ crane to load full loom beams into racks.
- Operate a PIV to transport full loom beams and loom beam racks to the warehouse.
- To assist beamer operator with startup and doffing.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to read and write and follow directions
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand and follow beamer front support standard work procedures
- Ability to use PIVs and hoist/ cranes to stage empty and full loom beams.
- Ability to pass beamer front support tests and become certified by consistently performing standard work as required.
- Good communication skills
